Dr. Charles Overturf IV, D.O. is a proud native of the state of Florida. He was born in Palatka, Florida, and lived there for eighteen years. He graduated from Putnum County High School and went on to get a B.S. in Biology at Freed-Hardeman University in Henderson, Tennessee.
While attending the university, he met his wife Casey who is a licensed Physician Assistant practicing dermatology. Dr. Overturf attended the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in Lewisburg, West Virginia. He graduated with a degree of Doctor of Osteopathy. Upon graduation from medical school, Dr. Overturf proceeded with a residency at the University of South Florida specializing in Internal Medicine and in Pediatrics. He was recognized as an outstanding resident during in tenure of residency.
Dr. and Mrs. Overturf are the proud parents of their daughter, Chloe. He enjoys fishing, hunting, and hiking. He is an avid Gator fan. In addition to practicing medicine in the United States, he has a passion for serving the poor in underdeveloped nations.
